The Advanced Search option allows you to search two different fields with two different search strings (using a boolian AND between the two). For instance,
if you would like to see all items in the database that BOTH have the Description "Battery" AND are located
in bin number "123A" you could enter "battery" in Search text 1 , and set the Search in Field to description.
Then, in the Search text 2 field you would enter "123A" and set Search in Field to Bin Number.
You can also search the same field for two different words to narrow your search. For instance you could search the Description field for "Battery" in Search text 1 AND "Cell" in Search Text 2. As long as Search in Field is the same for both searches (in this case it should be set to Description) you will find all records with both "Battery" AND "Cell".
